INVITATION TO THE 2009

INVEST IN AFRICA; BUILD AFRICA EXHIBITION

JULY 2009, LONDON AND PARIS

For the third year running, we are please to invite you to participate in Africa's must-attend event for any company serious about tapping into the Diaspora market.

In 2007, we held first-ever Kenyan property exhibition to be held in London. The inaugural exhibition was attended by 15 exhibitors and over 600 investors from the Diaspora. In 2008, the exhibition, dubbed Invest in Africa - Build Africa, attracted 20 exhibitors and over 800 investors from the Diaspora. All who attended can testify that it was definitely BIGGER AND BETTER.  What is in store for 2009?

This annual exhibition has now become the must-attend event for companies looking to attract investment from the Diaspora market as well as the wider British market. In 2009, we are putting together a programme that will maximise your return on investment. As well as hosting a two-day exhibition in London, we will also include an exhibition day in Paris, thereby giving you access to the European market.

Our key aim remains to continue positioning Africa firmly as an investment destination both for Africans in the Diaspora as well as to international investors. The 2009 Exhibition will continue to focus on its key role of linking exhibitors from Africa with Investors in the Diaspora. This year's conference has the twin-theme - INVEST IN AFRICA; BUILD AFRICA:

  • INVEST IN AFRICA - This theme is about attracting investment into our financial markets. We will be seeking to promote investment in African Stock Exchanges, African banks, investment management, insurance, pensions and other financial services. We are inviting stockbrokers, investment advisers, fund managers, bankers, insurers, pension funds and other major players in the financial services market.
  • BUILD AFRICA - This theme is about attracting investment into our real estate. Construction and property investment have been major vehicles that the Diaspora has used to invest in Africa. We are inviting developers, mortgage providers, real estate agents, property managers, professional institutions and other major players in the real estate market to participate.

We invite you to take part in the 2009 INVEST IN AFRICA - BUILD AFRICA exhibition.

Focus on Africa remains pivotal to Global economies, but more particularly, it remains paramount that Africa develops and redevelops itself in all areas supportive and lucrative. There is no doubt that Real Estate is one important avenue, to support livelihoods through optional and various shelter schemes, but also to turn the economies through local and international investments.

Positively,Africa will gain many heights.
