The dilemma with most of us small business guys is that the big players seem to transverse every sector. The prospect of advertising in a business directory, especially those that charge listing fee, is an unwelcome idea, another drain to our meagre resources.

To add insult to injury, the landlines are a luxury most of us have learnt how to do without. This automatically kicks us out of the yellow pages listing as only businesses with landlines are accepted. This reduces the prospects of our success and engraves the names and brands of the haves in the minds of the public. In addition, most countries in Africa have no choice in that there is often a single directory which is ran by the local postal service providers.
