Following our very successful Property Exhibition held in London in July 2007, we are excited to invite you to this year’s Exhibition. As promised last year, this year’s exhibition will be BIGGER AND BETTER! The 2007 first-ever Kenyan Property Exhibition was a huge success. Over 600 investors from the Diaspora attended the event. Investors were keen to open bank accounts and buy property in Kenya. This year we expect to double these numbers to ensure you make a return on your investment.

Our key aim remains to continue positioning Africa firmly as an investment destination for Africans in the Diaspora as well as to international investors. The 2008 Exhibition will continue to focus on its key role of linking exhibitors from Africa with Investors in the Diaspora.

This year’s conference has the twin-theme – INVEST IN AFRICA; BUILD AFRICA:

• INVEST IN AFRICA – This theme is about attracting investment into our financial markets. We will be seeking to promote investment in African Stock Exchanges, banking, investment management, insurance, pensions and other financial services. We are inviting stockbrokers, investment advisers, fund managers, bankers, insurers, pension funds and other major players in the financial services market.
• BUILD AFRICA – This theme is about attracting investment into our real estate. Constriction and property investment have been major vehicles that the Diaspora has used to invest in Africa. We are inviting developers, mortgage providers, real estate agents, property managers, professional instructions and other major players in the built environment.

The Exhibition will run from Friday 22nd to Sunday 24th August 2008 and the programme will be as follows:

•  FRIDAY 22nd August (morning) – During the day there will be a guided tour of the 2012 Olympics Games development sites and other regeneration sites in London (limited to exhibitors and 40 guests only - book online)
• FRIDAY 22nd August (evening)The official opening and conference programme will be held in the evening starting from 6pm on Friday afternoon with the Minister(s) opening the conference followed by speeches and presentations from the Kenya High Commission; major financial institutions, developers and international trade promotion bodies. 
• SATURDAY 23rd August – All day exhibition and seminars programme. Investors will be able to interact directly with exhibitors during the whole day. Due to the huge number of attendees we are expecting this year, we are allocating more time and more space for the exhibition – see floor plan on the last page. We will also organise an after party social event in the evening for all. upon registration you will receive further details.
• SUNDAY 24th August – Delegates and exhibitors are free to arrange one-to-one meetings at the Holiday Inn Hotel.
